Designed in partnership with the American School of the Hague and centered around Global Intercultural Citizenship, Week Without Walls gives students the chance to address a challenging question surrounding one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals through the pre-departure preparation and on-site execution of a
Are you a
- Pre-departure virtual Intercultural Citizenship seminars
- Global Competence Certificate program
- Community-based project in collaboration with local school and comune, and surrounding one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Topic-specific interview and collaboration opportunities with local organizations
- Contextual Italian language mini-lessons, focused on practical and relevant language tasks
- Cultural, historical, and outdoor activities, as well as customized hands-on experiences
- Including visits to Campane Marinelli, the foundry which molds bells for the Vatican and beyond, as well as the Museum of Copper and the DiNucci Caseficio (where they make Caciocavallo cheese)
- Double accommodations in a local hostel, hotel, or B&B
- All meals
- All local transportation, including pickup at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport (airfare not included)
- Optional add-ons prior to or following this program: add a second MIS program (and get $100 off both!), book further activities with one of our partners, or let us help put together a trip to Rome or Naples

- Cost: Varies with the number of students, specific dates & locations, and accommodations, but a key element of our mission is to keep study abroad as affordable and accessible as possible, and we take advantage of our relationships in Molise to keep costs as close to (and often lower than) your budget as possible.
