Apicoltura Nazario Fania
Nazario Fania is a passionate beekeeper with a laboratory in Montagano and beehives located in different hilly and mountainous areas of Molise. From April to August he moves the beehives to different blooms to create excellent quality single and assorted mixed flowered honey.
His work consists of integrated and sustainable beekeeping, a model learned from his bees. Having gone beyond a simple organic badge, he has created a “circular economy” beekeeping company where the control over the honey and other bee products belongs to the producer and the consumer. He takes those who consume his honey to the fields, offering them a lens into how the bees produce the honey and, subsequently, how he extracts it in the laboratory.

Di Iorio Tartufi
For three generations now, the Di Iorio family has chosen to make the prized Molise truffle its vocation. Vincenzo Di Iorio, a young entrepreneur now at the helm of the company, has decided to carry on and develop this family passion, learned since he was a child thanks to his grandfather Vito, who took him with him to search for truffles through the wonderful woods of Molise. Di Iorio Tartufi offers educational truffle hunting experiences followed by a visit to their production kitchen, and a culminating multi-course meal featuring the truffles from the hunt!

Molise Trekking
Molise Trekking holds multi-day hiking excursions throughout Molise led by Antonio Meccanici, a certified AIGAE Interpretive Nature Guide since 2016. Antonio has spent his entire life exploring the region of Molise, both through nature and history. During his excursions, he leads small groups of people through Molise’s backcountry, farmlands, and paths of ancient transhumance, with nights spent in small villages getting to know the local culture.

Martino Coltivazioni produces a top quality extra virgin olive oil from the small town of Colletorto in the province of Campobasso. BamBam is a local company engaged in the early education sector for more than 10 years. Composed of a team of enterprising and friendly young educators attentive to cultural enrichment, BamBam is excited to offer complete availability to host student interns.

Provvidenti is a small municipality near Casacalenda, northeast of Campobasso. Internship opportunities are available within renewable energy, as well as the design and analysis of public and private systems for large companies in Abruzzo and Molise. Student interns will scout land suitable for the construction of photovoltaic systems, participate in the preliminary analysis and constraints of the system, and draft the preliminary design of the system. They will also study and analyze European planning for public and private systems.

Abruzzo, Lazio, e Molise National Park
The Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise National Park is the oldest in the Apennine Mountains, and the second oldest in Italy, with an important role in the preservation of species such as the Italian wolf, Abruzzo chamois, and Marsican brown bear. Their Voluntary Work Program offers a unique life and work experience in an intact natural environment. According to specific needs, volunteers take part in checks and monitoring, environmental education, work with the general public, photo or TV reportages, cultural promotion, trail and structure maintenance, assistance to visitors, and cleaning.
Internship opportunities include participating in Parks and Recreation Management with the Voluntary Work Program and its incoming participants during the summer, assisting with events and initiatives, and working within the Visitor’s Center.
